  oh.... how the saga goes on!!

  i swear we could write a novel about our life exiting the watchtower!!

  ok..many of you read what happened..our house was egged and so was my sisters car that was parked here, and "frosty" was attacked!!

  Someone wrote that because they had heartfeltedly apologised to let it go....

  I just have to say that this is wrong and you will learn that if/when you have children. My sons do things that are wrong and they say they are sorry. This doesn't mean that they are exempt from punishment or restitution.

  I would do everything in my power to get the video tape if it truly exists and I would start calling news stations. If your police or DA are unwilling to prosecute, call the ACLU.

  If you were a jew with menorah or muslim and someone came and destroyed your ramadan display they would be prosecuted with hate crimes and everything else...this should be no different.

  I really think this qualifies as a hate crime.

  It is evil what they did even though no one was harmed, it was absolutely wrong.

  I would call the news stations, papers, everyone who would listen. This is absolutely wrong to allow this kind of behavior to go unpunished.

  I know it takes a lot of time and emotional energy, but these people need to see that they cannot walk through life doing what they want simply because they are Jehovahs Witnesses. These were not teens, these are adults who have been around the block.

  What happens the next time they get together and decide to plan a home invasion robbery of the apostates....just for fun.

  I'd file restraining orders and press charges faster than you could blink an eye.

  Church of the Nazarene?

  my brother darin now attends a nazarene church.

  i have been to a couple of their services.

  Why Georgia

  My husband and I went to the Church of the Nazarene here for a few months when he first stopped going to meetings. We really liked the people, they were very nice. They also had a huge band and choir including someone who had been in Elvis Presley's band.

  We just found we did not agree with their doctrines. They said no drinking ever and no dancing unless your married. I thought the no drinking thing was wierd since Jesus turned water into wine...etc. They could never answer that to my satisfaction.

  They do a lot for the community and encourage volunteerism - there were alot of AA and NA meetings held at the church. They also have their own college a in/outside of Boston - Eastern Nazarene College.

  I know she has her own church and she's richer than me....

  I know she has solved some crimes, there was a girl who was missing in Oregon and she led police to the exact place where she was dead in the water.

  How did she know that? I don't want to know.

  It is interesting....but I don't like to focus on that stuff.

  let me start by saying that i have posted here before about my wacko sister -in-law.

  this time it is bad.

  we recieved a phone call from my husbands father on friday night asking about how we were and what we were up to ,no biggie just odd since its only maybe the second time in over a year that he has called.

  Personally I would call the police and file a report. Then I would call the jerks in New York in the legal department and ask them if this is behavior they condone....and I would send a copy to them.

  Then I'd make a third phone call to the local elders and tell them that you had called the police, and the legal department and they had better tell their sheep to stay on the farm and far away from you and yours. I'd also tell them that you plan on hiring an attorney and suing them all if they don't keep every JW away from your home, and if you have any complications with your pregnancy due to this stress you will civily sue them and you know that you may not win but you're willing to make this a very public battle dragging Jehoovers name through the mud.

  And if your husband doesn't stand up for you, I have some sad news...He may never.

  I've gone through this with my husband, his mother accused me of our first child not being his...and that was a flat out BS lie. He and I were married and I love him dearly and would never think of sleeping with anyone else.

  My husband has finally taken the stand that you must be nice to see him or our children. They can't do that. We don't see them.

  New Years Resolutions

  it is once again that time of year.

  it was after i found this site in january of 2006 that i made my first serious list of resolutions and i actually achieved all but three...

  now that you are free to make life plans and choices what are your resolutions for this year...

  My resolution is not to be so hard on myself and shoot my own airplanes out of the sky.

  I would also like to focus on what is really important...the people I love the most in the world. My husband, kids, mom and step-dad.

  The past is over and I can't fix it and I am refusing to focus on it or give it anymore power over me any longer. I survived, so I am going to move on even though it sucked and hurt a lot.

  I am going to try to live in the now.

  I also refuse to allow myself to feel badly because jerks, who just happen to be family don't want to have anything to do with us because their stupid botchtower tells them we aren't worthy.

  I am also going to try to cut down on my sugar consumption and eat more fruits and vegetables.

  Can we start a Secret Santa Recieved/Sent Thread?

  i'm worried because i sent a christmas card plus had a gift sent by ups over the internet about 7 days ago and haven't heard anything.

  i would feel really feel bad if my person didin't receive their gift or card.

  so i think we need to have an official post place.

  I sent mine from Massachusetts to the UK yesterday via international priority. They said it should arrive in 4 days.

  I hope my Secret Santa will like it.

  I also received my gift from Restrangled last week, but I haven't opened it yet. I am waiting.

  When is a fade finished?

  so i was thinking - if i don't da myself and they don't df me, am i doomed forever to this limbo called "fade?

  " when do i stop worrying about "what if they find out?

  " when will they (if they saw me) just think of me as someone they knew, rather than "one of their flock" - even when they know i'm inactive?

  My husband has been on the fade for 6 years. We had a visit last month.

  I think it depends on if you have family that are regular seat warmers at the KH. Most my husbands family is still in, so they bother us even though we have sent them letters saying - Do not knock, come by, stalk, write, call , email, send mail or pass go....!

  You just have to remember, bad association spoils useful habits.....so don't associate with JW's. LOL!
